Imate have released the product spec of their latest PDA, the JAMin. The Windows Mobile 5.0 based device features an integrated GSM/GPRS Quad-band phone, 2.0 megapixel camera with camcorder functions, bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, and an MP3/MPEG4 player. Check out the image below…

The JAMin appears to have all of the classic applications you’d expect from a PDA including Internet explorer, ActiveSync, Outlook Mobile, and Media Player. The typically large, clear touchscreen of an iMate is here too, as well as full phone functions, and connectivity by Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, IrDA and mini USB. 196MB total memory will give you all of the space you need to store your music, photos and videos, and if it doesn’t the JAMin also has a SDIO/MMC expansion slot.
As soon as I can get hold of one for a full review I’ll let you know if the JAMin is as good in practice as it is on paper, but by the looks of it, this mid-range PDA phone has all the features you could ask for.
