New HP iPAQ Data Messenger / Voice Messenger Handhelds

Not a company to rest on their laurels, HP iPAQ have released two brand new handhelds to bolster their already impressive handheld portfolio. The Voice Messenger and Data Messenger, like HP iPAQ’s previous models, are geared towards the business user and feature powerful user options, as well as enhanced connectivity and a slick new design.

Both models feature WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, Quad Band, 3G, integrated GPS and an integrated 3.1MP camera, making these devices amongst HP’s most powerful to date.

The differences between the two models lie primarily in the screen and keyboard department. Whilst the Voice Messenger features a 2.4″ non touch screen display and alphanumeric keyboard, the Data Messenger features a 2.81″ Touchscreen display with slide out QWERTY keyboard. Which model suits you best therefore depends on your typical usage. Those who rely on their handset for heavy data input tasks may well benefit from the larger screen and QWERTY keyboard featured on the Data Messenger.

With a price tag of around £333.69 for the HP iPAQ Data Messenger, these new handhelds are available now in UK stores and are sure to be a hit with business users.
