HTC recently announced the release of their latest smartphone, the HTC Snap. Designed primarily to cater for mobile e-mail use, the HTC snap includes a full QWERTY keyboard with natural offset pattern and raised keys for comfortable typing, as well an innovative new email organisation feature called ‘Inner Circle’. Developed to prioritise your in-box, Inner Circle works by moving e-mails from a preselected group of people to the top of your in-box at the simple press of a button.
E-mail management is further simplified by Microsoft Direct Push Technology, which provides real-time updates and synchronisation of email accounts via Microsoft Exchange Server, as well as support for POP3 and IMAP e-mail accounts.
In addition to greater efficiency in the email department, the HTC Snap runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 and includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, integrated GPS, 256MB ROM/192MB RAM, a microSD/SDHC expansion slot, and 2-megapixel camera, making the HTC Snap a powerful tool both in and out of the office.
