New to the satnav market, the Vexia Econav GPS is the first eco-friendly satnav in the world and promises to help drivers save more than 15% of their fuel consumption. The satnav works by giving commands which show a driver how to drive efficiently, saving fuel and reducing CO2 commissions by up to 30%.
The new device calculates the most economical route based on the car type, fuel type and number of passengers. The system also advises drivers on which gears to use, while the Accelerator Pedal Indicator shows whether the driver is using the accelerator efficiently.
According to Econav, the device will pay for itself in just six months, with savings of up to £200 to be made with every six months of usage.
There are four models available in the range with prices starting at £159.99 inc VAT. For more information visit the website at http://www.vexia.co.uk
