Acer CEO Gianfranco Lanci gave a sneak peek of their forthcoming 7″ tablet, a complete turnabout from previous statements that Acer would NOT be entering the Tablet arena.

While speaking at a press conference in Beijing, Lanci gave reporters a quick glance at the device but wouldn’t be drawn into confirming any details other than the expected date of Q4 2010.  From the demonstration given it’s clear that it will certainly be an Android device and already rumours are abound of other anticipated features.  For starters, Lanci indicated that the Telecomm networks would be the obvious sales channel which hints at the presence of an integrated 3G module.
